Senior Data Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Drive the successful implementation, adoption, and sustained value of data products hosted on GCP across various data domains.

• Collaborate with GCP teams to design solution strategies, delivery timelines, and customer adoption plans.

• Facilitate discovery meetings with stakeholders from parts, pricing, sales operations, marketing, service, and analytics.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications, delivery roadmaps, and product backlogs.

• Foster relationships with customer stakeholders to ensure value realization.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of data products related to pricing optimization, parts availability, lead scoring, external data enrichment, customer segmentation, and commercial analytics.

• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, feasibility, and customer impact.

• Lead cross-functional Agile delivery teams consisting of data engineers, analysts, platform engineers, and subject-matter experts.

• Ensure compliance with bronze/silver/gold medallion architecture principles.

• Oversee data pipelines, transformations, and models utilizing SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT frameworks.

• Spearhead the implementation of open lakehouse architectures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

• Guarantee data quality, lineage, metadata management, and governance.

• Support the integration of CRM, ERP/SAP, pricing systems, parts catalogs, marketing platforms, and external data sources.

• Collaborate with commercial, operational, customer success, and engineering teams.

• Report progress, risks, and outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist in pre-sales and solution-development discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or Engineering with 12+ years of experience in end-to-end product management, cross-functional collaboration, and production-grade data analytics and data engineering solutions; OR a Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, or Engineering with 10+ years of such experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing open lakehouse architectures and medallion-based data products.

• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.

• No visa sponsorship is available.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS and Snowflake; familiarity with GCP AI/ML capabilities.

• Preferred: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks.

• Preferred: Knowledge of data governance, data quality, lineage, cataloging, metadata management, and access controls.

• Preferred: Experience in integrating, modeling, and transforming data from enterprise systems including SAP.

• Preferred: Understanding of commercial and operational analytics, KPIs, funnel metrics, pricing structures, customer lifecycle analytics, and performance measurement.

• Preferred: Familiarity with machine learning workflows, AI-enabled data solutions, and MLOps.

• Preferred: Ability to translate business objectives into data product requirements.

• Preferred: Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives, prioritizing workstreams, and communicating effectively with both business and technical audiences.
