Senior Data Integration Specialist – Smart Grid Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Become a member of our four-person team

• Create digital twins of customers' electricity grids using Venios.Net

• Design and take charge of both functional and technical architectures

• Integrate various data sources and systems, including GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, as well as weather and forecast data

• Ensure the accuracy of delivered data

• Collaborate closely with project management, product management, development, DevOps, and clients

• Serve as a technical advisor

• Assist the implementation team during pilot projects and deployments

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in a STEM field, ideally in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics

• Several years of programming experience, preferably in high-level languages such as C#

• Significant experience as a Data Integrator, Systems Integrator, or in a similar role

• Familiarity with complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs

• Ideally, experience in the energy sector or smart grid environment

• Knowledge of electricity grid structures and geographic information systems is advantageous

• Strong understanding of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures

• Proficient in both German and English

• Residency in or a valid work permit for Germany or Austria
