Senior Data Integration Specialist – Smart Grid Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a four-member team

• Create digital twins of customers' electricity grids within Venios.Net

• Design and oversee the functional and technical architecture

• Integrate various data sources and systems, including GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, as well as weather and forecast data

• Validate incoming data

• Collaborate closely with project management, product management, development, DevOps, and clients

• Serve as a technical sparring partner

• Assist the implementation team with pilot projects and rollouts

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed STEM degree, ideally in computer science, geoinformatics, electrical engineering, or physics

• Several years of programming experience, preferably using high-level languages like C#

• Extensive experience as a data integration specialist, system integration specialist, or in a similar capacity

• Familiarity with complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs

• Ideally, knowledge of the energy sector or smart-grid environments

• Ideally, understanding of electricity-grid structures and geographic information systems

• Strong grasp of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures

• Proficient in both German and English

• Residency in, or a valid work permit for, Germany or Austria
