Senior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment and ongoing upkeep of data governance policies, processes, and controls.

• Establish metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to assess data quality.

• Supervise the integrity, consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data.

• Assist with data security, LGPD, and adherence to regulatory compliance initiatives.

• Detect opportunities for cost optimization in both cloud and on-premise environments (FinOps).

• Maintain documentation for data-related guidelines, policies, controls, and requirements.

• Contribute to strategic projects by aiding in technical decision-making and priority establishment.

• Tackle complex challenges and formulate solutions in partnership with a variety of stakeholders.

• Promote alignment and consensus between technical and business teams.

• Share expertise and mentor junior professionals, fostering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Governance and Data Quality.

• Familiarity with data security, LGPD, and compliance with regulations.

• Background in FinOps and cost optimization strategies in cloud and/or on-premise settings.

• Proficient in SQL and programming languages.

• Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Understanding of code version control and software development best practices.

• Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.

• Capability to work autonomously when analyzing and resolving intricate problems.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
