📋 Description

• Grant authority for settlement on highly intricate claims that exceed the limits of the Market Claim Office and Regional Claim Office.

• Provide insights and recommendations for trial requests on cases that surpass the authority of the Market Claim Office.

• Oversee significant losses for assigned CSAs.

• Offer discretionary referrals regarding coverage matters, professional opinions, and research.

• Approve requests for Closed Without Payment in cases where liability is contested and the value is greater than Field authority.

• Conduct file assessments for complex projects and litigation cases.

• Analyze data and present findings.

• Evaluate cases to determine the appropriateness of Closed Without Payment status.

• Assist the Field with discretionary referrals concerning intricate coverage issues.

• Engage with Home Office Claim litigation for guidance and involvement as necessary.

• Review coverage aspects, liability, and damages in highly complex cases.

• Collaborate with Field leadership to discuss next steps and provide feedback.

• Share insights and trends with Frontline Performance Experts, Frontline Performance Leaders, and Claim Process Specialists.

• Partner with Product, Protection, Law, and Claims on new product initiatives.

• Create Claim Bulletins that address new forms and endorsements impacting claim handling procedures.

• This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.

• Proven experience in managing large loss claims.

• Strong ability to assess complex exposures.

• Skilled in investigating liability issues.

• Competence in navigating claims to resolution.

• Experience with severe injury claims.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Capacity to make informed claim decisions in a high-paced environment.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Active insurance license holders are required to terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during their employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
