📋 Description

• Evaluate new applicant information to facilitate both automated and manual credit decisions

• Collaborate with data sourced from corporate financial statements, tax documentation, and banking integrations such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Plaid

• Employ related product usage data to assess risk profiles

• Create dashboards or tools for real-time monitoring of underwriting and fraud-detection metrics

• Oversee post-origination account activities, including expenditure, payment patterns, credit utilization, and user engagement

• Detect declining creditworthiness using both internal data and external credit reports

• Examine delinquency patterns and payment reliability to enhance risk models and collection strategies

• Develop behavioral segments and performance cohorts for proactive management of accounts

• Assist in P&L analysis for the unsecured credit card offerings

• Construct models for customer lifetime value, profitability segmentation, and risk-adjusted returns

• Identify factors contributing to losses and potential areas for margin enhancement

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics or credit analytics, ideally in fintech, credit cards, or small to medium-sized business lending

• Proficiency in SQL/SAS and familiarity with Python or R for exploratory data analysis and automation

• Strong grasp of credit underwriting principles and financial analysis for SMBs

• Experience with interpreting business financial documents (P&L, balance sheet, tax returns) and cash flow information from banking data

• Knowledge of credit bureau data and commercial credit reports

• Capability to clearly communicate findings and influence stakeholders across different functions
