Junior Risk and Internal Controls Analyst – Focus on Data Privacy and LGPD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation and ongoing management of the Personal Data Privacy and Protection Program.

• Facilitate data mapping initiatives and maintain an inventory of personal data processing activities.

• Engage in the development, review, and enhancement of privacy-related policies, standards, and procedures.

• Aid in managing data subject requests via the Privacy Channel.

• Conduct interviews with internal teams to pinpoint and evaluate processes that involve personal data.

• Contribute to the delivery of training, awareness campaigns, and initiatives aimed at fostering a culture centered on privacy and LGPD.

• Provide guidance to business areas regarding data protection best practices and LGPD compliance.

• Assist in assessments related to legal bases, including legitimate interest evaluations.

• Create presentations, reports, and materials to monitor the department's activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Fundamental understanding of LGPD and concepts related to data privacy and protection.

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

• Ability to foster relationships and engage effectively with teams across various organizational levels.

• Desired qualifications: prior experience in privacy, compliance, legal, governance, risk, or internal controls.

• Familiarity with or experience in Data Mapping and ROPA.

• Knowledge of Information Security.

• Understanding of ISO 27001, ISO 31000, or COSO standards.

• Experience in delivering training and awareness programs.

• Experience in managing data subject requests.

• Proficient in Power BI.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
