Senior Data Engineer – Digital Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable ETL pipelines for extensive data processing.

• Utilize PySpark and Databricks extensively to perform intricate data transformations and workflows.

• Optimize data pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and cloud cost-efficiency.

• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to convert requirements into high-quality data solutions.

• Diagnose, resolve, and prevent complex issues in data processing and pipeline bottlenecks.

• Uphold best practices for data quality, governance, and system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of practical data engineering experience in developing production-grade solutions.

• Strong expertise in PySpark.

• Significant hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Advanced knowledge of Databricks AutoLoader.

• Advanced proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with best practices, performance tuning, and optimizing compute costs.

• Thorough understanding of end-to-end ETL processes.

• Deep insight into complex data transformations.

• Experience in optimizing pipelines.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to both technical and business teams.

• Must reside in Latin America, as specified by the required application question and team location context.
