Senior Data Engineer – Digital Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable ETL pipelines for extensive data processing.

• Collaborate extensively with PySpark and Databricks to perform intricate data transformations and workflows.

• Enhance data pipelines for optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in the cloud.

• Partner with engineering and business teams to convert requirements into high-caliber data solutions.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and prevent complex issues in data processing and pipeline efficiency.

• Uphold best practices for data integrity, governance, and system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of practical experience in data engineering, specifically in creating production-quality solutions.

• Strong expertise in PySpark.

• Significant hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Advanced understanding of Databricks AutoLoader.

• Proficient in Python.

• Familiarity with best practices, performance enhancement, and cost optimization related to computing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end ETL workflows.

• Experience in complex data transformations and optimizing data pipelines.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of clearly communicating technical concepts to both technical and business teams.

• Must currently reside in Latin America.
