Senior Data Engineer – Digital Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable ETL pipelines for extensive data processing.

• Collaborate extensively with PySpark and Databricks to perform intricate data transformations and workflows.

• Optimize data pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and cloud cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to convert requirements into high-quality data solutions.

• Troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent complex data processing issues and pipeline bottlenecks.

• Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and system performance.

• Engage in innovative, high-impact projects with U.S. companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of practical data engineering experience in developing production-grade solutions.

• Strong expertise in PySpark.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Advanced knowledge of Databricks AutoLoader.

• Advanced proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with best practices, performance tuning, and compute cost optimization.

• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end ETL processes.

• Experience in complex data transformations and pipeline optimization.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business teams.

• Currently residing in Latin America, as specified in the required application question.
