Senior Data Engineer – Digital Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.

• Collaborate extensively with PySpark and Databricks to perform intricate data transformations and workflows.

• Optimize data pipelines for enhanced performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.

• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to convert requirements into high-quality data solutions.

• Troubleshoot, resolve, and preempt complex data-processing and pipeline bottlenecks.

• Uphold best practices for data quality, governance, and system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of practical experience in data engineering, focusing on building production-grade solutions.

• Strong expertise in PySpark.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Advanced knowledge of Databricks AutoLoader.

• Proficient in Python.

• Familiarity with best practices, performance tuning, and compute cost optimization.

• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end ETL processes.

• Experience in complex data transformations and pipeline optimization.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and business teams.

• Reliable internet connection.
