This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a technology team focused on creating a next-generation Intelligence Layer, an AI-driven analytics platform with governance.

• Design, create, and sustain data pipelines and curated datasets within the Databricks Unity Catalog.

• Develop and document Metric Views that delineate core business metrics, including schedules, on-time performance, bookings, and pricing.

• Configure and optimize domain-specific Genie Agents for conversational analytics.

• Contribute to the architecture of multi-agent orchestration, encompassing the Supervisor Agent layer.

• Implement MLflow for tracing and evaluating to monitor the quality of agents and manage versioning.

• Aid in the integration of the intelligence layer with external AI tools through the MCP Server.

• Work collaboratively with data and product teams to transform business inquiries into governed, reusable data definitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Databricks (this is non-negotiable).

• At least 4 years of pertinent data engineering or analytics engineering experience.

• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, Delta Tables, Metric Views, and Genie Agents.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Experience in developing solutions using agentic AI methods and patterns.

• Familiarity with Unity Catalog or comparable data governance and lineage frameworks.

• Proven history of delivering reliable, production-grade data pipelines and analytical systems.

• Experience utilizing MLflow for experiment tracking, model/agent evaluation, or observability.

• Understanding of multi-agent orchestration patterns within enterprise data environments.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or providing AI capabilities via APIs.

• A background in the aviation or travel industry with knowledge of flight data concepts.
