Senior Data Engineer – Databricks Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist both new and current customers with their data engineering requirements.

• Advise customers in making informed technical choices to reach their objectives.

• Manage multiple customer accounts while monitoring and reporting on progress.

• Design, construct, and operationalize intricate data solutions.

• Troubleshoot issues, implement transformations, and suggest data cleansing and quality enhancements.

• Evaluate data sources and propose their integration into analytical workflows.

• Establish data governance, security, and quality protocols.

• Collaborate with various teams to facilitate project delivery and educate end users on data products and analytical environments.

• Conduct data and system analysis, assessment, and resolution for moderately complex defects and incidents.

• Test data movement, transformation code, and data components.

• Design, build, and deploy data solutions that support AI, ML, and BI insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant experience in data engineering and data product development.

• More than 3 years of experience in a consulting setting.

• In-depth knowledge of the Databricks platform.

• Experience with migration projects from legacy systems to Databricks.

• Hands-on experience with DAB, clustering techniques, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with various data platforms and technologies.

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, CI/CD, and GenAI.

• Proficient in SQL and PySpark.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.

• English proficiency: Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced, selectable in the application form.
