Senior Data Engineer – Cybersecurity Platform

📋 Description

• Maintain and improve current data processes to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.

• Analyze current data models, tables, workflows, and processing jobs.

• Identify technical gaps, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system enhancements.

• Design, optimize, and support extensive data pipelines and transformation processes.

• Lead modernization initiatives for the data platform and execute architectural enhancements.

• Optimize intricate SQL queries to enhance data processing speed.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams to develop technical solutions and implementation strategies.

• Contribute to both short-term delivery objectives and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in data engineering, performance optimization, and system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Advanced SQL expertise, particularly in optimizing complex queries for performance and scalability.

• Strong hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.

• Comprehensive understanding of database concepts, including DDL, DML, and advanced SQL.

• Practical experience with Snowflake.

• Familiarity with Elastic stack technologies.

• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment.

• Experience in driving technical initiatives from conception to execution.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
