Senior Data Engineer, Cybersecurity Platform

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve current data processes to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.

• Evaluate existing data models, tables, workflows, and processing jobs.

• Detect technical gaps, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system enhancements.

• Architect, optimize, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and transformation workflows.

• Lead initiatives for data platform modernization and implement architectural upgrades.

• Refine complex SQL queries to decrease data-processing latency.

• Partner with product engineering teams to develop technical solutions and implementation plans.

• Contribute to achieving both short-term delivery objectives and long-term platform development.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in data engineering, performance optimization, and system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Proficient SQL skills with substantial experience in optimizing complex queries for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Extensive practical experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.

• Strong grasp of database concepts, including DDL, DML, and advanced SQL.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Familiarity with Elastic stack technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to operate independently in a high-autonomy environment.

• Proven track record of driving technical projects from conception to execution.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
