Senior Data Engineer – Cybersecurity platform

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve existing data processes with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and performance enhancement.

• Examine and thoroughly comprehend current data models, tables, workflows, and processing jobs.

• Recognize technical deficiencies, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and possibilities for system enhancements.

• Design, refine, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and transformation workflows.

• Lead modernization efforts across the data platform and implement architectural advancements.

• Enhance complex SQL queries to reduce data processing latency.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams to synchronize on technical solutions and implementation plans.

• Contribute to both immediate delivery objectives and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in data engineering, performance optimization, and system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Advanced SQL expertise with practical experience in optimizing complex queries for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Strong hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.

• Comprehensive understanding of database principles, including DDL, DML, and advanced SQL.

• Practical experience with Snowflake.

• Familiarity with Elastic stack technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of working independently in a high-autonomy setting.

• Experience in driving technical projects from conception to execution.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
