Senior Data Engineer – Cybersecurity Platform

📋 Description

• Maintain and improve current data processes, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and performance enhancement.

• Evaluate existing data models, tables, workflows, and processing tasks.

• Detect technical deficiencies, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential areas for system enhancements.

• Design, optimize, and provide support for large-scale data pipelines and transformation operations.

• Lead modernization efforts across the data platform and execute architectural advancements.

• Enhance complex SQL queries and reduce data processing latency.

• Work in conjunction with product engineering teams on technical solutions and implementation methodologies.

• Contribute to both short-term delivery objectives and the long-term development of the platform.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in data engineering, performance optimization, and system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Advanced SQL expertise with practical experience in optimizing complex queries for performance and scalability.

• Strong hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.

• Comprehensive understanding of database concepts, including DDL, DML, and advanced SQL.

• Practical experience with Snowflake.

• Familiarity with Elastic stack technologies.

• Proven track record in designing, constructing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment.

• Experience in driving technical projects from conception to execution.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
