Senior Data Engineer – Cybersecurity Platform

📋 Description

• Sustain and enhance current data processes to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Evaluate existing data models, tables, workflows, and processing tasks.

• Detect technical deficiencies, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system enhancements.

• Design, refine, and support large-scale data pipelines and transformation workflows.

• Lead initiatives for data platform modernization and implement architectural enhancements.

• Optimize intricate SQL queries and reduce data processing latency.

• Partner with product engineering teams on technical solutions and implementation strategies.

• Contribute to both short-term delivery objectives and long-term platform development.

• Ensure compliance with data engineering standards, performance optimization, and system reliability best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Advanced SQL proficiency with practical experience in optimizing complex queries for performance and scalability.

• Strong hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.

• Comprehensive understanding of database concepts, including DDL, DML, and advanced SQL.

• Practical experience with Snowflake.

• Experience with Elastic stack technologies.

• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a high-autonomy environment.

• Experience in driving technical initiatives from conception to execution.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Familiarity with Airflow for workflow orchestration, cybersecurity or security-related products, and modernizing legacy data systems and architectures is a plus.
