Senior Data Engineer – Commercial Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain data pipelines that facilitate communication between HubSpot, Zuora, Vitally, and BigQuery.

• Manage reverse ETL processes that return warehouse-enhanced or warehouse-defined data to operational tools.

• Establish and uphold data contracts that include ownership, service level agreements (SLAs), and schema agreements.

• Collaborate with RevOps and BAT teams to convert operational data needs into governed pipelines.

• Develop monitoring and alert systems for data quality concerns.

• Streamline data flows through the warehouse and minimize point-to-point integrations.

• Work alongside Analytics Engineers to ensure pipeline outputs are structured, well-documented, and ready for modeling.

• Engage with tool owners and engineering teams to enhance upstream data quality and schema adherence.

• Assist with the data aspects of a HubSpot reimplementation project.

• Partner with Data Platform, Analytics Engineering, and GTM teams on commercial analytics initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining production data pipelines within a commercial or GTM data setting.

• Strong knowledge of CRM data models, APIs, and field management; experience with HubSpot or a similar platform is preferred.

• Practical experience with reverse ETL methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of BigQuery.

• Experience in implementing data contracts in a production setting.

• Proficiency in Python for pipeline development, transformation logic, and tooling.

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD processes for data engineering code.

• Experience working in a SaaS environment and collaborating closely with GTM teams.

• Must be physically located in the specified country with a valid right to work.

• Ability to submit applications in English and use English in the workplace.
