Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain the Feature Store along with future data services.

• Design and implement EL / ELT / ETL pipelines.

• Incorporate new tools for data processing and storage solutions.

• Execute operational tasks related to internal data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.

• Proven experience in building high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems.

• Strong understanding of event-driven systems and streaming pipelines.

• Proficiency in Python and adherence to Python best practices.

• Proficiency in SQL along with best practices for SQL.

• Knowledge of system design best practices.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery / ClickHouse, PostgreSQL / CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab (CI/CD), and GCP.

• Experience with REST API, gRPC API, and message brokers & queues.
