Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the Feature Store along with other forthcoming data services.

• Construct EL / ELT / ETL pipelines.

• Incorporate new tools for data processing and storage solutions.

• Execute operational duties for the Data Services Team.

• Develop internal data solutions for Tabby.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.

• Proven expertise in creating high-load and scalable data processing and storage systems.

• Strong understanding and experience with event-driven systems and streaming pipelines.

• Proficiency in Python and adherence to Python best practices.

• Proficiency in SQL and adherence to SQL best practices.

• Knowledge of system design best practices.

• Familiarity with tools such as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery / ClickHouse, PostgreSQL / CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab (CI/CD), and GCP.

• Experience with REST APIs, GRPC APIs, message brokers, and queues.

• Bonus: Experience in GO development.

• Bonus: Familiarity with modern data storage systems including Relational, MPP, and NoSQL.

• Bonus: Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
