Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create a Feature Store along with other upcoming data services

• Design and implement EL / ELT / ETL pipelines

• Incorporate new tools for data processing and storage

• Execute operational tasks for internal data solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in roles such as Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer

• Proficiency in building high-load and scalable systems for data processing and storage

• Strong understanding of event-driven systems and streaming pipelines

• Expertise in Python and adherence to best practices for Python

• Proficient in SQL and knowledge of SQL best practices

• Familiarity with system design best practices

• Experience with technologies such as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery / Clickhouse, PostgreSQL / CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab (CI/CD), and GCP

• Knowledge of REST API / GRPC API / Message brokers & Queues

• Bonus: Experience in GO development

• Bonus: Familiarity with modern data storage systems including Relational, MPP, and NoSQL

• Bonus: Experience with Google Cloud Platform
