Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and business analytics.

• Construct, optimize, and oversee ETL/ELT processes for the consolidation of data from various sources.

• Integrate data from both internal and external systems, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability.

• Automate data loading, transformations, and updating routines utilized in Fleet Management dashboards.

• Structure and evolve the data architecture to support operational, commercial, and consumption KPIs.

• Develop and maintain Data Marts, analytical layers, and data models for Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics.

• Implement data monitoring, observability, and quality control mechanisms.

• Assist in defining and implementing data governance, including standardization, traceability, and data cataloging.

• Ensure the availability and reliability of information used by business dashboards and KPIs.

• Collaborate with BI, Analytics, Product, Sales, and Operations teams to enable scalable analytical solutions.

• Support the automation of critical KPIs used in Fleet Management.

• Define processes that minimize manual intervention and enhance the operational efficiency of data management.

• Apply best practices for security, access control, and data lifecycle management.

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the data platform, aligning it with business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in Data Engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.

• Knowledge of dimensional and analytical modeling.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Understanding of data architecture, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes.

• Experience integrating multiple data sources and systems.

• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and observability.

• Experience in automating data processes and updating KPIs.

• Ability to structure environments for analytical consumption and dashboard development.

• Knowledge of optimizing query and pipeline performance.

• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Python (a plus).

• Databricks (a plus).

• Apache Spark (a plus).

• APIs, microservices, and data integrations (a plus).

• Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Warehouses (a plus).

• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Data Factory, or similar (a plus).

• CI/CD applied to data environments (a plus).

• Experience with Data Governance projects (a plus).

• Experience handling large volumes of data (a plus).

• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or data visualization tools (a plus).

• Experience in payment processing (a plus).

• Understanding of B2B, logistics, mobility, or fleet management markets (a plus).

• Experience in complex, multidisciplinary corporate environments (a plus).
