Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and develop scalable data pipelines and workflows using Databricks.

• Create ETL/ELT processes utilizing Databricks, Python, and SQL for data ingestion, transformation, and preparation.

• Enhance data workflows for improved performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in cloud environments.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data models, tables, and integrations on Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud platforms.

• Work alongside data analysts and scientists to provide clean, accessible data for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Monitor data pipelines and resolve technical issues as they arise.

• Contribute to internal documentation and establish best practices.

• Keep abreast of new Databricks features and industry trends to promote ongoing improvement.

• Enable enterprise AI, MLOps, and Generative AI initiatives for corporate clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of practical experience in data engineering, data transformation, or analytics engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines within the Databricks ecosystem.

• Familiarity with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including compute, storage, and data services.

• A degree in Computer Science or a STEM field, or equivalent real-world technical experience.

• A strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and the development of clean, maintainable software.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote-first setting.

• Familiarity with Scala is a plus.

• Available exclusively for a B2B contract.
