This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.
• Design and construct high-performance systems that handle millions of ad transactions in real-time.
• Utilize AI technologies to enhance outcomes for partners.
• Manage the complete development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
• Create and develop scalable data pipelines for bid streams, impressions, and revenue data sourced from programmatic channels.
• Ingest and standardize data from SSPs, DSPs, ad servers like Google Ad Manager, and third-party reporting APIs.
• Develop real-time and batch processing systems for auction analytics, win rate assessments, and bid landscape modeling.
• Create ETL/ELT workflows to convert raw programmatic data into analytics-ready datasets.
• Establish data models for yield optimization, floor price evaluation, and demand partner performance.
• Construct and oversee data warehouses and data lakes optimized for ad-tech query patterns.
• Implement monitoring for data quality, validation, and anomaly detection for programmatic data streams.
• Assist BI and analytics teams by providing clean, well-documented, and high-performance data infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations regarding data collection, storage, and processing.
• Collaborate with a modern, high-achieving engineering team in an international setting.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• More than 2 years of experience working with programmatic advertising or ad-tech data.
• Strong command of Python and SQL.
• Experience with streaming data platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, and Pub/Sub.
• Practical experience with data warehouses including BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, and ClickHouse.
• Familiarity with batch processing frameworks like Spark, dbt, and Airflow.
• Understanding of ad-tech data structures including bid requests, impressions, OpenRTB schemas, and log-level data.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with SSP reporting APIs and log-level data from providers such as Magnite, PubMatic, Index Exchange, and Xandr.
• Experience with Google Ad Manager reporting, Data Transfer files, and BigQuery exports.
• Knowledge of Prebid Analytics adapters and bid stream data.
• Familiarity with mobile measurement platforms like AppsFlyer, Adjust, and Kochava.
• Experience with RTB log files and auction data.
• Understanding of revenue metrics such as CPM, eCPM, RPM, fill rate, win rate, and bid density.
• Knowledge of auction analytics, including bid landscape, floor optimization, and timeout analysis.
• Understanding of demand partner performance metrics, including SSP/bidder scoring and latency analysis.
• Knowledge of supply chain data, including ads.txt validation, sellers.json mapping, and SPO analysis.
• Nice to have: experience in ML feature engineering for bid optimization or yield prediction.
• Nice to have: background in developing data products for publisher-side monetization.
• Nice to have: familiarity with privacy-preserving data techniques such as differential privacy and clean rooms.
• Nice to have: experience with CTV/OTT advertising data and video ad metrics.
