Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain efficient data pipelines that handle substantial data volumes.

• Enhance and optimize the data platform for improved speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with various functional teams to comprehend and fulfill their data requirements.

• Establish processes and tools to monitor and evaluate model performance and data precision.

• Address general data-related challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Advanced expertise in SQL.

• Proficient in Python.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn and master new technologies and methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in data governance, developing and deploying machine learning models, and using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
