This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Create and implement data pipelines for reporting and advanced analytics.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines, reporting solutions, and data products using Snowflake and AWS.
• Construct scalable processes for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and publication.
• Convert business requirements into technical designs, user stories, process flows, and scalable solutions.
• Produce and keep technical documentation, solution designs, operational runbooks, and supplementary artifacts up to date.
• Integrate data from Member, Provider, Claims/Encounter, Quality, and Financial domains.
• Establish frameworks for data quality, monitoring, validation, reconciliation, automated testing, and exception management.
• Aid in cloud modernization and the transition of legacy platforms to Snowflake and AWS.
• Diagnose production issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement enduring solutions.
• Set up engineering best practices concerning source control, CI/CD, automation, testing, documentation, and cloud architecture.
• Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams through planning, estimation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and provide high-quality data solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
• Requires 4–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience derived from applicable knowledge, responsibilities, scope, and skills.
• 4–6+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or integration.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, Snowflake, data modeling, query optimization, stored procedures, and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud ETL/ELT, large-scale batch processing, production support, and stakeholder solution design.
• Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Git/GitLab, and Control-M or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, automated testing, performance optimization, and monitoring.
• Background in developing analytical and reporting datasets across member, provider, claims, quality, and financial domains.
• Expertise in Git/GitLab, CI/CD, automation, and contemporary engineering practices.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Capability to identify issues and procedural discrepancies, gather data, establish facts, and reach valid conclusions.
