This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and manage scalable data platforms that support mission-critical applications, analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions.
• Develop robust, cloud-native data pipelines that ingest, transform, secure, and deliver operational data.
• Facilitate modern analytics, AI workloads, and real-time event processing across both structured and semi-structured data.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, platform engineers, product teams, and data consumers.
• Create enterprise-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Establish cloud-native data platforms that support analytics and operational workloads.
• Design real-time event-driven data processing solutions.
• Construct data models that support reporting, AI, and customer-facing applications.
• Develop secure and scalable integrations between enterprise systems.
• Automate monitoring, testing, and deployment processes for data infrastructure.
• Manage production data platforms with an emphasis on observability, testing, and automation.
• Continuously enhance engineering productivity through AI-assisted development and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in building production data platforms and pipelines.
• Proficient in Python development.
• Strong skills in SQL development and query optimization.
• Experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Aurora.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, and other document databases.
• Experience in constructing data lakes and cloud-native data architectures.
• Proficient with cloud data warehouses including Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and IAM.
• Skilled in building event-driven and streaming data solutions.
• Familiar with messaging technologies like Kafka, SNS/SQS, Kinesis, or similar.
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Proficient in Git and modern CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Experience in creating highly available and scalable production systems.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, partitioning, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Experience in monitoring and operating production data platforms.
• Familiar with Apache Spark or distributed processing frameworks.
• Experience with Debezium, CDC, or change data capture architectures.
• Knowledge of Iceberg, Delta Lake, or modern lakehouse technologies.
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with supporting AI and machine learning data platforms.
• Experience in building feature stores or vector databases.
• Knowledge of document processing (OCR, Textract, PDF extraction).
• Experience in media, payroll, financial systems, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
