This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee global data center upgrade and retrofit initiatives that affect critical and MEPS infrastructure.
• Determine program needs, collaborate with internal clients, and support programs throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Manage upgrade and retrofit construction initiatives across various global sites.
• Create program budgets, cash flow plans, commitments, and seek funding approvals in collaboration with Cost Control.
• Lead cross-functional teams while managing multiple concurrent programs.
• Launch initiatives with technical authorities and partners, including the creation of program documentation.
• Recognize process and communication deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
• Generate program reports that detail schedules, budgets, performance metrics, risks, and opportunities.
• Revise quarterly forecasts, budget expenditure statuses, and funding requests.
• Enhance program processes, documentation, and workflows by utilizing feedback and performance metrics.
• Formulate field execution and delivery strategies.
• Offer mentorship in project execution and evaluate construction alternatives.
• Establish comprehensive project timelines and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders, project controls, contractors, and A&E design teams.
• Assess technical challenges and devise potential solutions.
• Assist in schematic and design development reviews.
• Facilitate contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid evaluation, and recommendations.
• Engage in constructability reviews and value engineering efforts.
• Conduct program and project risk assessments and evaluations.
• Oversee program costs, change controls, dashboards, and monthly updates.
• Coordinate lessons learned, document control, QA/QC processes, closeout documentation, and owner-directed vendors.
• Lead both direct and matrix teams, encompassing recruitment, staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and retention strategies.
• Monitor staffing levels and the utilization of human resources.
• Exemplify behaviors aligned with the company’s RISE values.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of program management experience, with at least 3 years concentrating on data center infrastructure or critical environments.
• Familiarity with formal Program Management methods and best practices.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams within a high-tech, complex environment.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality programs.
• Extensive change management experience in the areas of development, implementation, and execution.
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in talent assessment.
• Proficient with standard business applications and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
