Senior Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy production-quality enterprise data architectures.

• Develop and maintain hands-on ETL/ELT, Python, and SQL data pipelines.

• Design enterprise data warehouse/lakehouse solutions that support modern AI/ML and Generative AI applications.

• Architect both batch and real-time data systems.

• Construct real-time analytics, event-driven architectures, and streaming data pipelines.

• Implement change data capture (CDC) and incremental data processing utilizing CDC or Debezium.

• Build AI-ready data pipelines, semantic search, RAG/vector-search infrastructure, and Generative AI data architectures.

• Integrate enterprise data with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, Databricks Mosaic AI, or Snowflake Cortex.

• Collaborate with Treasure Data / Treasure Data CDP and cloud data platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture; the posting also mentions 15+ years of experience.

• Proficient in hands-on ETL/ELT, Python, and SQL.

• Experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing/Lakehouse architecture.

• Robust AI/Generative AI data engineering experience, including RAG, vector databases, LangChain/LangGraph, AI Agents, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar technologies.

• Practical experience with Treasure Data / Treasure Data CDP.

• Knowledge of real-time analytics, event-driven architecture, and streaming data pipelines.

• Preference for candidates with experience in Apache Kafka.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable cloud data platforms.

• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP data engineering services.

• Experience with CDC or Debezium and incremental data processing.

• Proven track record in designing batch and real-time enterprise data architectures.

• Experience in building AI-ready data pipelines, semantic search, or RAG infrastructure is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to personally design and implement production-grade data architecture, rather than solely maintaining existing ETL processes.
