This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Conduct advanced analyses and create intricate data models, insights, and analytics utilizing the Geo-Signals Cloud big data.
• Assist in the development of Unacast's data products.
• Leverage Snowflake to design effective data models, enhance query performance, and organize data for analytical and product applications.
• Create and refine complex SQL queries and data transformations within Snowflake.
• Manage large and intricate datasets to facilitate analytics and production data products.
• Contribute to data enhancement and quality initiatives.
• Identify and communicate data issues encountered during the generation of data and analytics products.
• Formulate and implement algorithms to recognize patterns, extract insights, and address complex analytical challenges.
• Collaborate with the development team as a vital technical contributor on the Complex Algorithm Team.
• Independently lead projects from problem identification through to implementation and delivery.
• Travel occasionally as necessary.
• Over 5 years of experience in information security.
• A minimum of 3 years focused on cloud security in AWS environments.
• Profound knowledge of AWS architecture, security services, and best practices for securing cloud applications and data.
• Experience in integrating security within engineering, DevOps, and cloud settings.
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Practical experience with incident response, risk assessment, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Understanding of emerging security threats, trends, and new technologies.
• Exceptional analytical skills for identifying and mitigating complex security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in developing or contributing to acceptable use policies and security guidelines for AI tools, including coding assistants, LLM APIs, and agentic systems.
• Knowledge of AI-specific risks, such as prompt injection, data leakage through model providers, model supply chain issues, and security implications of agentic tools with action-taking capabilities.
• Capability to assess AI vendors and their data handling practices against compliance requirements.
• Candidates must be residents of the continental United States.
• Certifications like CISSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty are preferred.
