This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to pinpoint opportunities, shape product strategy, and guide business decisions through data insights.
• Conduct comprehensive product and growth analyses, covering funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention strategies, segmentation, monetization, and experimentation.
• Establish success metrics and assess the effects of new features, experiments, and product initiatives.
• Create dashboards, regular reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Work alongside engineers to design, implement, validate, and sustain product event tracking in React-based interfaces.
• Detect and resolve tracking issues that impact data integrity.
• Consolidate data from Amplitude, Google Ads, Meta Ads, payment systems, CRM, and other sources to provide a cohesive business overview.
• Maintain documentation for key metrics, tracking plans, and data definitions.
• A BA/BS degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, data analytics, or similar quantitative roles.
• Proven history of successfully executing data analytics projects.
• Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, funnel analysis, retention strategies, and user behavior analysis.
• Experience in event tracking instrumentation and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of analytics implementations.
• Proficient in managing real-time and historical data, including data cleaning, processing, analysis, modeling, insights delivery, and execution strategies.
• Skilled in data queries and statistical programming tools such as SQL, R, and Python.
• Knowledge of product and marketing analytics tools like Amplitude and Google Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses through visualization and storytelling to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A self-starter who excels in a start-up environment with strong follow-through skills.
• Preferred: experience in optimizing data pipelines, data storage, and analytical frameworks.
• Preferred: familiarity with event tracking technologies such as JavaScript and Google Tag Manager.
