Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses on the lifecycle data related to services and vehicle auctions.

• Formulate business inquiries, locate data sources and queries, cleanse and transform data, examine trends, visualize information, and communicate insights.

• Provide assistance to data science and data engineering teams by performing complex analyses and implementations.

• Develop and enhance data processes and pipelines, ensuring high data quality and tracking KPIs.

• Collaborate with data suppliers to drive project outcomes.

• Aid product management through research on service, pricing, repair data, features, and product differentiation.

• Act as a liaison between technology and product strategy.

• Execute data analysis and validation while converting data into actionable insights.

• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.

• Monitor and evaluate key metrics, executing recurring analyses and reports.

• Write, maintain, and update queries for internal customer inquiries.

• Manage data feeds, integrating and cleansing internal and external datasets, deriving metrics, and transforming data into actionable information.

• Assist development teams in establishing data reporting models and monitoring systems.

• Construct and validate derived metrics and business rules.

• Ensure the integrity of data stores employed for collection, tracking, and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with Operations, Quality Assurance, Dispatch, engineering, product, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship is available now or in the future.

• A BS/BA degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of pertinent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related area.

• Over 2 years of experience in building and maintaining reports and dashboards.

• More than 2 years of experience troubleshooting or providing support for web-based applications.

• At least 2 years of experience with databases and database query tools, including Snowflake.

• Proficient in SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, and AWS.

• More than 2 years of experience in performing analyses and developing data processes.

• Strong proficiency with reporting tools; Power BI is required.

• Experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses.

• Familiarity with SQL, including Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2, and stored procedures.

• Experience in handling large-scale datasets.

• Proven ability to present data to leadership for informed decision-making.

• Knowledgeable in data extrapolation, interpretation, and chart compilation.

• Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for business analysis.

• Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of balancing strategic vision with execution.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Physically and mentally capable of performing duties within required timeframes.
