Data Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, with a specific emphasis on the Sportsbook.

• Foster robust relationships with internal stakeholders and aid in data-driven decision-making within the Sportsbook Product team.

• Assist the Sportsbook Product team with testing, analysis, and reporting as they enhance the product and improve user experiences.

• Generate regular and ad hoc insights; collect and present insight metrics and activities to key stakeholders.

• Evolve into a trusted source of intelligence and advisory over time.

• Collaborate with Analysts and Data Scientists to devise solutions for business challenges.

• Stay updated on technology and trends in data analytics as well as the sports betting and gaming sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in an analytics role.

• Prior experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant advantage.

• A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Proficient in a statistical programming language, such as R or Python.

• Skilled in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI.

• Strong capabilities in data analysis or the development of mathematical models.

• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, including multivariate testing.

• Experience with code repositories, such as GitHub.

• Familiarity with Amplitude is a plus.

• Proven ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders.

• Customer-focused, highly outcome-driven, and data-oriented.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

• Logical and analytical mindset towards problem-solving.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
