Senior Data Analyst, Lab Production Support, Extended-Hours Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide prompt data support to Lab Operations teams to resolve production challenges.

• Enhance turnaround times for patient results.

• Utilize statistical methods to analyze intricate datasets and identify operational challenges.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis, detect trends, and promote continuous improvement.

• Design and implement automated solutions for regular data analysis and production support workflows.

• Extract, transform, and analyze data to produce actionable insights.

• Document analytical processes, best practices, and key insights.

• Develop and refine scalable data retrieval solutions for extensive and complex datasets.

• Acquire operational efficiencies from technologies and solutions created by other DSPE teams.

• Mentor and train junior team members.

• Collaborate with Lab Operations and Product teams on process issues, root cause analysis, and product support.

• Represent the DSPE team during stakeholder meetings.

• Raise encountered issues with other DSPE teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Operational Research, or related fields.

• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a highly regulated environment, such as CLIA and/or FDA compliant settings.

• At least 3 years of practical experience in data analysis, extraction, and querying within production support roles.

• Familiarity with diagnostic laboratory business processes and requirements.

• Expertise in data analysis and statistical methods.

• Proficient in Python and SQL development.

• Working knowledge of Snowflake and cloud technologies.

• Understanding of hypothesis testing, central limit theorem, time series analysis, anomaly detection, and regression modeling.

• Strong documentation practices and coding style.

• Experience with GitHub or GitLab.

• Capacity to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to integrity.
