Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in data migration efforts, which encompass extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation from legacy systems into Oracle Cloud EPM.

• Conduct data quality evaluations to detect inconsistencies, anomalies, and issues related to data integrity.

• Confirm legacy-to-target data mappings and validate successful migration outcomes.

• Create, maintain, and improve reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.

• Utilize SQL and business intelligence tools to analyze data and provide reporting solutions.

• Work collaboratively with project stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to gather reporting requirements and establish data validation processes.

• Document data migration processes, validation outcomes, and reporting methodologies.

• Assist in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data verification tasks.

• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.

• Offer analytical support during implementation and post-deployment phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis.

• Experience in supporting data migration and validation initiatives within large-scale system implementations.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.

• Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools.

• Proven experience in validating legacy-to-target data mappings.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience in conducting data quality assessments and reconciliation.

• Capability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must qualify for a government security investigation and be able to secure a government-issued security clearance.

• May be subject to background checks, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness evaluations.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting Oracle Cloud EPM implementations.

• Preferred: Knowledge of financial data structures, ERP systems, or enterprise performance management solutions.

• Preferred: Familiarity with best practices in data governance and data management.
