This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and guide the designated Extended-Hours Support shift team.
• Assess, report on, and consistently enhance the operational efficiency of the team.
• Establish and monitor team objectives that align with the organization's goals.

• Oversee and optimize workload, capacity, and ticket-SLA tracking systems.
• Represent the Extended-Hours Support teams during stakeholder meetings.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and establish consistent reporting processes.
• Convert complex analytical findings into actionable insights.
• Escalate issues to other Data Science Production Engineering teams as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Recognize and escalate risks that may impact project timelines or ticket resolution times.
• Collaborate with the broader DSPE team to enhance and develop support solutions.
• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science).
• At least 5 years of experience in a highly regulated environment, such as CLIA and/or FDA compliant settings.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in data analysis and/or statistical modeling within data production, data engineering, data analytics, or analytics production support roles.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team leadership position.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
• Working knowledge of the business processes and requirements relevant to diagnostic laboratories.
• Demonstrated success in managing production escalations, data workflows, and team operations.
• Experience with healthcare data and clinical terminology is advantageous.
• Functional understanding of next-generation sequencing workflows.
• Skilled in data analysis and statistical methodologies.
• Proficient in Python and SQL programming.
• Familiarity with Snowflake platform technologies.
• Strong SQL capabilities for querying and extracting data from complex sources in a structured manner.
• Solid grasp of statistical principles, including parametric and non-parametric distributions, hypothesis testing, probability, and regression analysis.
• Competent in aggregating, preparing, cleaning, and analyzing data using SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their practical applications.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Good documentation practices and coding style.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with version control systems, such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
