Senior Data Analyst – GCP, BigQuery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Examine extensive datasets to produce actionable insights that facilitate business decision-making.

• Create and refine complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and sophisticated analytics processes.

• Engage extensively with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to handle data processing and analytics.

• Design and sustain dashboards and reports utilizing Looker and Looker Studio.

• Convert business inquiries into analytical models and data-driven insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish metrics, validate data, and guarantee analytical precision.

• Maintain data quality, consistency, and performance across all analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in a Data Analyst position or a similar analytical role.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including performance optimization and complex query development.

• Strong practical experience with Python for data analysis.

• Proven track record of working with BigQuery.

• Solid experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

• Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Looker Studio.

• Demonstrated capability to work with large-scale datasets.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in spoken English.

• Native proficiency in Spanish.
