This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of all internal data at Nectir, encompassing sales, marketing, customer success, finance, operations, and engineering activities.
• Develop and maintain a bidirectional integration between HubSpot and BigQuery.
• Create data pipelines from Gong, LinkedIn, GCP, Azure billing, and engineering activities.
• Utilize Airbyte where applicable and construct custom pipelines using REST APIs and direct database connections as necessary.
• Model data using dbt.
• Supervise pipelines, set up alert systems, carry out backfills and deduplication, and manage schema drift.
• Define the structures for sales and marketing data, including accounts, contacts, segmentation, attribution, activities, and product usage.
• Establish field-level definitions and data-capture standards for professor-led and instructional designer-led purchasing processes.
• Ensure data quality through scheduled automated checks.
• Reconcile data before publication.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to identify questions and prioritize valuable requests.
• Provide consistent insights through internal dashboards.
• Create customer health scoring metrics.
• Model sales forecasts and customer segments.
• Monitor cloud, inference, and vendor expenses per customer to calculate margins.
• Report directly to the Director of Analytics and work alongside sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and operations teams.
• Achieve milestones such as production syncing between HubSpot and BigQuery, documented data models, Gong pipeline, automated quality checks, dashboards, customer health scoring, and visibility into customer margins.
• Experience in building, deploying, and managing production data pipelines from REST APIs, databases, and third-party SaaS applications.
• Proficient in production Python: version control, testing, scheduling, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including Git, CI/CD, cron, and deploying code to production environments.
• Daily utilization of AI coding tools.
• Proven experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to define and deliver analytical projects.
• Self-motivated and capable of prioritizing tasks independently as the sole data representative on the business side.
• Excellent written communication skills in a remote, asynchronous team setting.
• No formal degree required.
• Preferable experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Nice-to-have familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks such as SQLMesh or Dataform.
• Nice-to-have experience with Airbyte or comparable integration tools like Fivetran or Meltano.
• Nice-to-have knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
• Nice-to-have experience in data modeling within HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Nice-to-have experience with forecasting, segmentation, clustering, or churn modeling.
• Nice-to-have familiarity with cloud cost analysis.
• Nice-to-have background in edtech, higher education, or teaching.
• Interest in advancing skills in machine learning, statistics, and advanced analytics, or existing experience in ML and data science.
