Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Head of Data and Insights

• Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Marketing, and SEO teams within the Sports sector

• Execute comprehensive analytical projects that support commercial, product, and marketing strategies

• Develop sophisticated forecasting models that incorporate financial planning, historical data, seasonality, and sporting events

• Revamp and enhance the Tableau dashboard suite

• Deliver quicker, more actionable performance insights to stakeholders

• Identify data discrepancies and improve reporting processes

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize data pipelines

• Utilize statistical analysis, behavioral analytics, and experimentation

• Discover opportunities that enhance revenue, conversion rates, and sustainable business growth

• Guide team members and pinpoint future analytical prospects

• Influence Legend's analytical capabilities and promote data-driven decision-making

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL at an expert level

• Strong skills in Python (preferred) or R

• Experience with Tableau

• Competence in statistical analysis

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end analytical projects from inception to implementation

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities

• Capability to convert business challenges into analytical solutions

• Skill in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Commercial acumen and experience leveraging data to impact business strategy and decision-making

• Background in mentoring or assisting team members

• Experience in sports betting, iGaming, or another digital business with substantial web analytics exposure is highly preferred
