This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Assist clients and Hub operations through intricate analysis of client business processes and data.
• Comprehend current logical and physical database architectures supporting complex business operations and applications.
• Utilize advanced SQL skills to query and navigate various data domains.
• Deliver clear, comprehensive, and pertinent data analysis results.
• Collaborate with project team members as well as technical and database leads.
• Offer insights into data challenges that influence business decisions and processing activities.
• Create both standard and custom SQL reports that summarize business, financial, or economic data.
• Integrate business intelligence and trend data to support informed recommendations.
• Identify, monitor, and analyze customer trends using Business Intelligence tools.
• Develop and update databases, construct complex SQL stored procedures, dashboards, systems, and process methodologies.
• Prepare reports or correspondence regarding project specifications, activities, or current status.
• Consult with clients or departments about project status, proposals, and technical matters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Database Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role involving large data sets.
• Over 3 years of experience required in Business Intelligence tool design.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector or life sciences is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role is preferred.
• Proficiency in data interpretation, forecasting, predictive modeling, and delivering executive presentations.
• Advanced skills in SQL, SSRS, and Excel are essential.
• Required experience in building dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS, Salesforce, or Python is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is necessary.
• Ability to develop stored procedures and write complex queries using joins and subqueries.
• Capability to communicate complex analytics to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to oversee and delegate tasks to other analysts.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management abilities.
• Capacity to perform in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Occasional travel to New Jersey, PA, or Pittsburgh offices may be required.
