This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the principal analytics subject matter expert for CCPI operational reporting.
β’ Provide timely, precise, and decision-ready data products to program leadership and evaluation stakeholders.
β’ Design, develop, and execute intricate SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate structured data from VA enterprise data environments, including CDW and associated VHA systems.
β’ Create, sustain, and enhance KPI monitoring frameworks and interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or VSSC.
β’ Assist in CCPI pilot data management, encompassing data environment setup, technical data support, data quality audits, and coordination with evaluation teams.
β’ Conduct systematic data quality assessments and detect anomalies or integrity issues across integrated data platforms.
β’ Implement or propose remediation strategies to guarantee dependable reporting outputs.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional program, clinical, and technical teams to establish data requirements.
β’ Document analytical methodologies and generate written reports, data dictionaries, and technical documentation in compliance with federal contracting and VA standards.
β’ Over 8 years of practical experience in data analysis, SQL-based querying, data extraction, operational reporting, and KPI development in large-scale enterprise analytics environments or similar integrated data platforms.
β’ A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is required; 4 additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
β’ Experience in supporting VA, VHA, DoD, or similar large-scale federal healthcare agency analytics programs.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare data structures, clinical workflows, and program integrity or community care settings.
β’ Capability to obtain and maintain VA network access and relevant system authorizations, including PIV credentialing and VA system access agreements.
β’ Must be able to pass a VA background investigation and fulfill federal suitability requirements.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
β’ Proficiency in at least one enterprise reporting or business intelligence platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, Summit Data Platform, VSSC, Azure Government, or Databricks.
β’ Proven hands-on experience with VHA-specific data systems including CDW, VistA, VSSC, RAMP, PTF (MedSAS), MCA System, PCMM, and/or NPCD.
β’ Experience working within Azure Government Cloud or Databricks environments.
β’ Background in supporting VA Community Care, program integrity, or value-based care analytics initiatives.
β’ Awareness of federal data governance standards, VA data management policies, HIPAA, and the Privacy Act.
β’ Experience in developing evaluation data support frameworks and producing data dictionaries, methodology briefs, or evaluation design support materials.
