This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee D1, D7, and D30 retention metrics across active games
• Monitor daily active users (DAU), monthly active users (MAU), concurrent users (CCU), session duration, and session frequency
• Evaluate new, returning, and churned players
• Investigate player cohorts and behavioral segments
• Track onboarding processes, progression, and gameplay funnels
• Identify areas of player disengagement and points of funnel drop-off
• Analyze feature usage and adoption rates
• Compare player behavior pre- and post-update
• Monitor monetization, conversion rates, payer behavior, ARPDAU, and ARPPU
• Examine game economy and progression data
• Observe long-term trends and analyze any unusual performance fluctuations
• Compare performance metrics across different games, updates, and player cohorts
• Develop and maintain dashboards for data visualization
• Generate comprehensive reports on game health and performance
• Work with large datasets to uncover correlations, patterns, and anomalies
• Assist the team in understanding the effects of new features and updates
• Take ownership of the development and continuous enhancement of the internal game analytics platform
• Establish clear metrics and KPIs for each game
• Create accessible views of complex game data
• Develop a dependable single source of truth for studio game performance
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate event and data capture
• Identify gaps in analytics and specify additional tracking needs
• Maintain consistent metric definitions throughout the studio
• Enhance game data collection, organization, and presentation
• Potentially assist in evolving the platform into a public product for Roblox developers and studios
• Become the go-to expert on the studio's game metrics
• Demonstrated experience in game, product, or user analytics
• In-depth understanding of retention metrics such as D1, D7, and D30
• Strong grasp of DAU, MAU, CCU, churn rates, and user engagement
• Experience in analyzing player or user behavior
• Profound knowledge of cohort analysis, segmentation, and funnels
• Proven experience in constructing dashboards or analytics platforms
• Skilled in defining and maintaining product or game KPIs
• Experience working with extensive datasets
• Strong statistical and analytical reasoning skills
• Ability to detect patterns and anomalies
• Excellent attention to detail
• Capability to explore ambiguous inquiries using data
• Proficient in communicating findings effectively
• Ability to simplify complex data into clear and useful visualizations
• Capacity to work independently and take initiative
• Experience with Roblox analytics is highly preferred
• Background in successful live games, free-to-play titles, or significant consumer products is highly desirable
• Proficiency in SQL, BI tools, analytics platforms, databases, or similar data tools is valuable
• Technical knowledge of data pipelines, event tracking, or analytics infrastructure would be particularly advantageous
