Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create scalable analytical solutions utilizing Power BI, Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python.

• Design and uphold dashboards, KPI frameworks, semantic models, and self-service analytics solutions.

• Convert data into actionable insights that aid in strategic business decision-making.

• Employ advanced analytics and machine learning methodologies, including regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and dimensionality reduction, to address complex business challenges and promote data-driven decision-making.

• Conduct exploratory analysis, ad hoc studies, and assist with experimentation initiatives.

• Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Technology teams to resolve business issues through data.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and reliability across analytical products.

• Adhere to software engineering best practices, including Git-based development, version control, testing, and CI/CD processes.

• Convey insights through compelling data storytelling, visualizations, and executive presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in Data Analytics, Advanced Analytics, and Business Intelligence.

• Proficient SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Strong expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX, data modeling, visualization best practices, and user experience design.

• Experience with Azure Databricks, SparkSQL, PySpark, and contemporary cloud-based analytics platforms.

• Proficient in Python for data analysis and the development of analytical solutions.

• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD practices.

• Practical experience in statistical analysis, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and data-driven problem-solving.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and data storytelling abilities.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken), with Spanish as a plus.

• Experience in Fintech, Credit, Digital Payment, E-commerce, or Digital Products is preferred.

• Experience utilizing AI-powered tools to expedite analytics development and insight generation is an advantage.
