Business Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between the development team and the business team to communicate requirements and ensure development meets standards.

• Collaborate with end users or clients to ascertain their expectations and manage them effectively.

• Handle multiple projects at the same time.

• Engage with end users, developers, and management to fulfill client requests.

• Work alongside internal and external clients to determine analytical and technical needs.

• Develop queries and employ data mining techniques to gather relevant data.

• Generate reports and analyses to meet client specifications.

• Identify and document requirements and user stories clearly.

• Offer testing support to ensure client expectations are achieved.

• Record processes and procedures utilized in report generation.

• Conduct business analysis to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Analyze client requests for scope and relevance.

• Translate data analysis results for business users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience required.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis.

• Proficiency in Excel (including PivotTables, and functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIFS).

• Experience with Power BI.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with IT principles, including logic, flowcharting, and coding.
