Senior Data & AI Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete solution architecture for data, analytics, and AI applications.

• Ensure the quality of design, security, scalability, supportability, and cost management.

• Convert business requirements into technical designs, target architectures, integration patterns, and actionable implementation guidelines.

• Facilitate hands-on prototyping, architecture assessments, troubleshooting, code and design evaluations, and technical assistance for delivery teams.

• Incorporate security, governance, compliance, and operational readiness into solutions from the design phase to production deployment.

• Mentor delivery teams throughout the design, prototyping, implementation, review processes, and production readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in senior solution architecture positions focusing on enterprise data, analytics, and AI platforms.

• More than 5 years of robust hands-on experience with Azure-based data platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, data lake architectures, SQL, and dimensional data modeling.

• Extensive experience with enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with enterprise architects and regulatory functions to meet organizational standards and control requirements.

• Experience in designing solutions that leverage Azure OpenAI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.

• Background in BI/analytics architecture with Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI technology.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications related to Azure, Power BI, data, or AI architecture are beneficial.

• Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Microsoft-first AI platforms and services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD, Microsoft Entra, Purview, and Key Vault is a plus.
