Senior Data / AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee Foundry data pipelines, ontology elements, and applications.

• Create semantic and contextual layers utilizing Palantir ontology principles, such as Object, Link, and Action Types, Interfaces, and Property Sets.

• Construct LLM-driven workflows using AIP Logic, AIP Automate, and AIP Assist.

• Transform agentic AI use cases from prototype to production by constructing, testing, deploying, and monitoring them.

• Serve as the primary Palantir expert within the delivery pod.

• Collaborate with, review, and mentor team members.

• Operate within a small delivery pod for a global consulting client.

• Convert business challenges from concept to production on Palantir Foundry and AIP.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP in real client or production settings.

• Hands-on experience in developing agentic or GenAI applications through experimentation, development, testing, production, and monitoring phases.

• Proficiency in creating reusable agent skills, tools, or components that support multiple use cases.

• Strong software engineering capabilities coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills.

• Experience in integrating AI with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business systems.

• Robust data engineering expertise across both structured and unstructured data.

• Adaptable to rapid delivery cycles and evolving requirements.

• Excellent English communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Availability to work during EST business hours.

• Nice to have: experience with production deployments within Palantir.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Palantir Ontology Linter, Data Lineage, CBAC, and Foundry Marketplace.

• Nice to have: knowledge of semantic layers, ontologies, or knowledge graphs.

• Nice to have: experience with Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks / Genie.

• Nice to have: CI/CD experience utilizing GitHub and DevOps / DevSecOps tools.

• Nice to have: experience in deploying OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM models, including model selection and cost optimization.
