Senior Mobile Engineer, AI-Assisted

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android utilizing React and Capacitor.

• Create scalable, maintainable, and high-performance user interfaces with React 18 and TypeScript.

• Develop and manage native mobile integrations as well as Capacitor plugins when necessary.

• Set up and oversee build environments using Vite.

• Work collaboratively with backend, product, and design teams to provide seamless user experiences.

• Diagnose, optimize, and improve application performance across mobile platforms.

• Oversee the release, updates, and deployment of mobile applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to best practices in engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, particularly in mobile application development.

• Extensive experience with React 18 in production settings.

• Advanced skills in TypeScript and adherence to strict typing practices.

• Practical experience in developing mobile applications using Capacitor.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining cross-platform applications for both iOS and Android.

• Experience in creating or customizing Capacitor plugins and native integrations.

• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.

• Experience in managing application deployments and releases through both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience with AI-Assisted Development is required.

• Proficiency in VS Code and GitHub Copilot beyond basic autocomplete functionalities.

• Experience in creating Copilot instruction files to provide context for repositories.

• Experience in building reusable prompt libraries for frontend and mobile architecture.

• Experience utilizing Copilot Agent workflows to produce high-quality TypeScript, React components, and mobile plugin code.
