This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the complete client relationship involving research, data strategy, and procurement stakeholders.
• Foster adoption, sustained data utilization, best practices, and satisfaction with Guideline’s solutions.
• Establish and maintain long-term connections with analysts, portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, data strategy teams, and compliance personnel.
• Oversee client renewals and proactively handle timelines in accordance with research and data budget cycles.
• Expand accounts by adding more users, datasets, historical data, adjacent teams, and strategies.
• Enhance client satisfaction and pinpoint opportunities to broaden data coverage.
• Create and execute customized success plans for each client.
• Monitor client health indicators, such as data consumption, engagement, 13F analysis, and stakeholder coverage.
• Work collaboratively with sales, product, data engineering, legal, and compliance teams to address data delivery and licensing challenges.
• Recognize opportunities for capital markets product expansion and contribute to shaping the roadmap.
• Assist clients during evaluation and onboarding processes, including data dictionaries, methodologies, sample deliveries, backtests, and proofs of concept.
• Conduct consultations, demonstrations, onboarding sessions, training, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Educate analysts and researchers about data structure, coverage, and methodologies.
• Remain updated on Guideline’s product roadmap, advertising market, and developments in the alternative data industry.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a client-facing role, ideally in customer success, account management, client-facing research, or consulting for market data, alternative data, or B2B SaaS.
• Previous experience serving capital markets clients, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity.
• Strong familiarity with how investment teams source, assess, and operationalize alternative data is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of the advertising and media intelligence landscape is advantageous.

• Highly organized and responsive to the needs of customers and internal teams.
• A curious and eager learner, willing to explore and educate others.
• Outstanding relationship-building abilities, with empathy for client challenges and a commitment to effectively resolving issues.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities with urgency while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of compliance considerations governing alternative data in capital markets, including MNPI, personal data, web-sourced data, permitted-use, and licensing restrictions.
• Good judgment regarding when to involve legal and compliance teams.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
• Experience with Jira, Gong, and market data, alternative data, or advertising intelligence platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, communications, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
