Senior Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Address intricate customer inquiries related to products, deliver quotes, and manage order entry.

• Process customer orders through telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or in-person sales.

• Negotiate sales and purchase prices within established guidelines.

• Modify non-contract customer pricing based on competitive analysis while optimizing profit margins.

• Foster customer relationships to encourage repeat business and enhance processes.

• Order products to ensure adequate customer inventory levels.

• Expedite backorders and prepare shipments when necessary.

• Source products from branches, distribution centers, or supplier inventories.

• Identify the most cost-effective shipping options for customer orders.

• Manage customer returns as required.

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced Customer Service Representatives.

• Assist junior representatives with customer queries, product location, and issue resolution.

• Support branch quality and/or safety initiatives when designated.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Generally requires a high school diploma or GED and five (5) or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.

• Dependability, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

• Strong communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening abilities.

• Capability to multitask and efficient time management skills are required.

• Proficient computer skills are necessary.

• Excellent negotiation abilities are essential.

• Strong knowledge of products is required.

• A favorable driving record is preferred.
